Does anyone know any techniques (recipies, pills, herbs, etc.) that i could take to get my adrenaline pumping and get hyper?

Eat waffles made with sugar coated batter waffles are covered with sprinkles with chocolate hard candies on it doused in maple syrup. M&M's on the top (with a cherry also dont forget) for a drink get coffee with 10 packs of sugar in it with 5-7 creamers. Don't forget your vitamin!

How do you eat bee pollen or jelly to boost energy?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: energy boosting

I've heard that these are "miracle" products that can boost your energy and even make pregnant women have no morning sickness. How do you take it? And where can I get it?
By the way, I'm not pregnant. It was just something that I read and was curious about. Thanks for all the great answers so far!

Bee pollen is great for energy. It is a much better source of protein than whey and has more protien pound for pound than a steak. It has complex carbs to feed your muscles and add energy. Plus it is very high in B vitamins that are needed by your body to make energy. It has also been shown to be a libido enhancer for men. It could be because the pollen is collected from the "male" part of the plants.

Royal jelly has the highest natural source of vitamin B5 and biotin. These B vitamins are responsible for healthy skin. hair and nails. It has collagen to help repair cartillage damage. It has RNA and DNA the "precursers to life". It has been shown to naturally increase hormone levels in both men and women.

You should read the book written by Dr.Cass Ingram called "The Longevity Solutiuon". It has a lot of information in it. As for calling them "miracle" products, I don't know about that, but they are probably the best natural product, because they are so packed full of vitamins and mineral. You would be hard pressed to find another food that has as many nutrients.

If you are considering royal jelly or bee pollen? I would recommend getting it fresh and not freeze dried. My personal observation has been that the freeze dried does not seem to be as affective as the fresh liquid royal jelly and unprocessed bee pollen. The best place to find it is at beeroyalproducts.com.

To take fresh royal jelly, you eat a spoonful (bee royal sends a spoon that is the proper serving size) in the monrning on an empty stomach. It is very bitter so drink a little orange juice and the taste will immediatley go away. DO NOT drink or eat anything hot for 20 minutes after taking it.

Bee pollen can be taken by a teaspoon (start out in smaller doses because some people get an upset stomach because they are not used to the high ammounts of nutrients and need to become acclimated to it). You can sprinkle it on cereal or mix it in your favorite smoothie.

I hope I helped. There is so much more information I could give but then the post would be to long.

Sorry about the spelling but the spell check is not working.

What over-the-counter vitamin is best for better energy?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: energy boosting

I am consistently lethargic. It could be meds I am taking. It could be the lay off of work (i'm a teacher) but I want to know if there is any energy boosting vitamins you recommend. My diet has not changed.

A good quality multi-vitamin, or better still something like Korean Ginseng or Ginko Biloba. Drink plenty of water and go for brisk walks. It might be an idea to check your bloods at the doctors, make sure all is ok. You could be anaemic.

safe ways to boost energy after a long day at work?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: energy boosting

im currently working 10 hour shifts mon-fir and 8 hours on saturdays. i stay active at work. i am a machinist and im on my feet all day. when i get home im soo tired and i get nothing done cause of all the hours. after the holidays i tried cutting back on caffine and energy drinks and all i would do is sleep then. what are safe ways i can boost my energy without going back to the mountain dew and energy drinks?

I work from 5am to 5pm 5 days a week and sometimes on weekends, occasionally being assigned a 24hr shift here and there.

I try to geta 5 mile run in 3 times a week to keep the cardio up, and force good sleep habits to establish hours of wake and rest. It makes it easier to stay awake and have energy at certain points in the day, and settle for bed at the right moments.

So, it boils down to 3 things
1 Sleep
2 Diet
3 Exercise

(Or you can do what I did for 3 years of Graveyard shift, guzzle a 2 liter of Dr. Pepper a night).

Energy-boosting/sapping foods?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: energy boosting

I had my second baby a few months ago and am having a very difficult time getting off the last 15lbs of baby weight.

i'm quite active, but my son is a LOUSY sleeper, and I've been turning to quick-fix foods (caffeine and sugary foods) to keep my energy up. The trouble is, I feel lusy as soon as i come down off the high.

I'm looking for a diet that will naturally boost my energy, and will help me shed the last pounds. What foods will help? What foods will hurt?

I'm not in a rush to loose the weight, I just want to feel better and keep it off.
Activity isn't a problem - I work out 3-5 times a week for 1- 1 1/2 hours. I do a combination of cardio, strength and flexibility - and you're right. This makes me feel worlds better, but I'd like to work on my diet.

You definitely need to cut out the sugary foods. Start by cutting out as many "white" foods as possible: refined white table sugar, white breads, white pasta, white rice, sodas, and foods with corn syrup. If you aren't already, become a label reader. Replace these foods with all natural sugar/evaporated cane juice crystals, whole wheat/grain breads, whole wheat pastas, and wild and brown rices. Be careful of salad dressings, catsup, bbq sauces, etc. Most sauces have corn syrups in them.

Next, add in more dairy, particularly yogurt. Dairy naturally contains elements that aid in digestion and weight loss. Yogurt, being dairy, has those same properties AND has more bone-building nutrients than any other single food. Multiple benefits for your fitness there.

Being a mother myself, let me encourgae you to work small fitness oriented "tasks" into your day. Even if your child is a poor sleeper, you can put some exercise into your day. You don't need to complete an hour long work-out, but focus on mini work-outs.

For example, get some small hand weights. You can do a few set of arm moves in 10 or 15 minutes. Bicep curls, lifts straight out from your sides, lifts straight out in front of you, lifts pushing up from your shoulders… you can do 2 or 3 sets of 15 in a short period of time. If you can't get weights, grab two bottles of bleach or laundry detergent.

You can also do a few sets of squats and/of leg lunges in a small amount of time. Instead of trying to do many different exercise moves all at once, split them up. Do a few sets while your baby is sleeping. Do a few more sets while he is sitting in a baby chair, swing, or whatever you have.

Buy a jump rope. Really. Not only will it work your legs and arms, you will get a great aerobic workout as well. Jump rope for one minute then go do something else you need to do. Then jump for two minutes. Try to work your way up. Jump a few minutes here and there.

It may be some time before you are able to have a nice slot of time to engage in a full work-out. Until then, do a little at a time and eat right. No sugars, whites, or fried foods. Eat plenty of fruits and veggies (raw is best), raw sunflower seeds, and dairy. Trail mixes are excellent too. Tons of nutrition, roughage, fiber, and low/no sugar.

Does every woman get an energy boost before going into labor?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: energy boosting

I'm just wondering…. I think that I may be in early labor but no energy boost. Also, is it common to feel like it may be just gas in early contractions? Thanks!

You may not even know if you get that energy boost or not. It sometimes happens a day or two before, like you get an urge to do nesting things like get the crib set up, or prepare clothes or something like that, The day before I went into labor, in the middle of the night, I got up to clean the cat box, then went back to bed. I didn't even think about getting up until after the baby was born. Now early contractions kind of feel like someone is squeezing something inside you, but not too painful. Then as time goes on, they get more intense. You'll know pretty much when it is time.
