Does any one have a good way to gain energy besides drinking caffeine or energy drinks.?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: caffeine energy drink

I wake up between 630-7:00 am and have the hardest time getting up. I take my son to school, go to work, pick him up, take him to practice, make dinner, finish homework and then do the things I NEED to do. i dont get to bed until 12:30-1 am sometimes. Im lucky if Im in bed by midnight. This life style has really taken a toll on how I look. I dont dress up anymore to get a little extra sleep in the morning but then I feel underdressed all the time. How do you mothers do it day in and dayout and look beautiful?
Any sugestions on how I get a morning boost instead of hittingt snooze?

Include more iron in your diet by eating leafy green vegetable such as spinache and red meat. Make sure you drinking at least 2 litres of water, this will make a really diffrence. Try to spend at least 30 mins each day outside, take your son to the park and enjoy the fresh air aswell as the sunshine which will produce vitamin D in your body. I would also recomend trying a floatation tank, an hour in one of these is the equivelkent of four hours sleep and will give your body a chance to heal and your mind to rest and re focus.

Side effects from black mamba energy drink or caffeine withdrawls?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: caffeine energy drink

My 16 year old daughter drank a black mamba energy drink on Friday night. She experienced immediate hyperness. Obviously, she wasn't able to sleep very much that night. The next morning, she experienced a "freak out" session where she was very antzy and paranoid. Since then, she has had one episode of accelerated heart rate - around 120. She is also shaky at times as well as experiencing breast pain - commonly associated with too much caffeine.

Obviously, I do not approve of the consumption of energy drinks but like many things teens do - this was done away from the home. I have taken her off all caffeine since last friday and I think she may be experiencing caffeine withdrawls.

I am scheduling her for a doctors appointment for the beginning of next week. In the meantime, I was wondering if this sounded consistent with caffeine withdrawals or the side effects of the black mamba drink?

Any advice would be helpful.

Energy drinks caused the hyperness and possibly the antziness the next day due to lack of sleep, but the high dosage of cafeine and sugar although not good for her would not continue to cause the same thing unless shes still drinking them
remember cafeine is a drug and can be addictive

LOOKING TO DO A SCHOOL PROJECT ON ENERGY DRINKS WITH CAFFEINE AND ITS PROS AND CONS?

There are lots of studies on the pros and cons of caffeine if you just search it on the web. A few pros are increased alertness and energy, while cons are rapid heartbeat, nausea, heart arrythmias, and anxiety. IMO, as a health professional, caffeinated drinks are NOT appropriate for school aged students.

Which energy drink do you swear by?

Posted by: admin  :  Category: caffeine energy drink

According to the FDA, They're not going to kill you. But many of these increasingly popular drinks contain significant amounts of caffeine, which can make you jittery and cause insomnia, as well as loads of sugar, which nobody needs. Worse, these drinks are often marketed to kids and teenagers, many of whom already struggle with their weight and don't need to add a caffeine addiction. "Energy drinks are rip-offs," said Bruce Silverglade , legal director of the Center for Science in the Public Interest, a Washington, D.C.-based consumer watchdog group that has been trying, unsuccessfully, to get the US Food and Drug Administration to force manufacturers to list the amount of caffeine on product labels.
